IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026, ELECTION DAY:

-Saturday, September 19: MOVE Ballot deadline to mail to military and overseas voters.

-Thursday, September 24: Absent voter ballots must be available for issuance to voters.

-Monday, October 19: Deadline to register by mail or online.

-Tuesday, October 20: Registration must be done in person with local clerk (showing proof of residency) between today and Election Day.

-Friday, October 23, at 5 pm: Deadline for voters to submit a written request to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new absent voter ballot by mail.

-Saturday, October 24: First day of mandatory early voting.

-Sunday, November 1: Last day of mandatory early voting period. (Optional early voting may be held on the Monday before Election Day until 4 pm.)

-Monday, November 2, at 4 pm: Deadline for a registered voter to apply for an absent voter ballot in clerk's office.

-TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3: ELECTION DAY. Polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

-Tuesday, November 3: Election Day registrants may obtain and vote an absent voter ballot in person in clerk's office or vote in person in the proper precinct.

-Tuesday, November 3, at 4 p.m: Deadline for emergency absentee voting. (Begins Friday, November 6, at 5 pm.)

-Friday, November 6, at 5 p.m: Deadline for voters to cure the signature on absent ballot return envelopes, allowing an otherwise valid ballot to be accepted for tabulation.

-Monday, November 9: Deadline for a ballot submitted by a MOVE voter and postmarked on or before Election Day to be deemed timely received and counted.
